While I 100% agree the reason for this 3 game skid isn't the goalie and clearly is the scoring, I would also point out that this team seems to play a lot less aggressive with Peters in net, especially the dmen.

This is a very good point. The number of odd man rushes allowed have been way down since Peters took over and I can't remember any breakaways. Having a goalie you trust (or don't) can change the style of play.

So he's the 4th oldest GM at his age and is also the second longest tenured. The average NHL GM is about 54 years old, so he's about ten years older than average and the average NHL GM was hired between 2005 and 2006, so he's got roughly 11-12 years on the job compared to the average NHL GM.

This might also be attributable to the fact that cutting down odd-man rushes, by making sure there was a high forward to help the D, has been a point of emphasis of the last few practices per Muller.

Peters still has had a sub-.900 sv percentage in every game. I agree that they are clearly piss scared that peters will have to make a save and that has contributed to the lack of offense.

I think if it came down to it, he'd man the ship through another rebuild. I really think he wants a second cup. If somehow they were to win in the next few years, I think he goes out on top. He's not *that* old and probably has next to zero pressure. Hes been around long enough to achieve the status of calling his own shots. And it's not like a long tenured coach where the locker room needs another voice. JR will probably be GM until he decides otherwise.
