California town has been dealing with arsenic in water for decades

State subsidiary delivers 30 gallons of drinking water/week per person to each resident, but you still have to cook and bathe with that water.

(Yet they cannot use any water from the California Aqueduct for political reasons as their water supply.)

And the subsidiary that allows for the water delivery is going ending.

Thousands of folks, not just in Kings City (above) also impacted by arsenic in their water.

Smaller cities do not have the tax basis to install filters to remove the arsenic (and disposed of it). Burden often falls onto the home owner.

Some are calling for ban on using such water.
