in particular I'd be interested in any opinions on some of the undrafted FAs at the camp:
Wideman, Taylor, Johner, Lattery, Dyck etc

None of the euro's came over for this camp. Hopefully they come for the real training camp if there is one.

Due to NCAA regulations the NCAA players would have to pay their entire way here or lose their college eligibility. Not likely for a short prospect camp. Would have been nice but I wouldn't have expected it.

I had heard Ramholt had a separated shoulder and might still be recovering. Not sure if anybody knows for sure...

Stat wise Wideman is very interesting. Little small (height wise) but nearing 200 pounds so he must be built pretty strong.

Taylor is a HUGE boy that the Flames lack as a center. He also had a great season this year compared to his past seasons. Looks to had a big improvement.

Johner looks to have some good offensive skill. Good numbers for him.

Lattery also has some good offensive skill.

Dyck has some offense and is also huge.

ONE thing I have noticed is that Sutter has really invited some HUGE, offensive CENTERS. Could that be a sign that Sutter is building depth at center as he expects Conroy to be gone?

Justin Taylor came highly recommended by Brent Sutter, that's a hell of an endorsement and makes his chances of getting signed very good. Posted 16PTS in 19GP in the WHL playoffs this year and was a big part of getting the Rebels past the first round.

I am not as familiar with the others, except for Wideman. Definately some promising free agents, most of them could be good fits for the Flames depth-wise.
