It's amazing the amount of Oiler fans that come out of the woodwork after they make the playoffs for the first time since Bush was president. Guess all that sucking ended up being worth it. Kevin Lowe and the rest of those boobs being vindicated . Run a team into the ground like the Penguins and the Oilers and pray like hell. It's amazing the amount of Flames fans that come out of the woodwork and preach their team like it's Chicago-esque with their so-called "Top 5 Defence in the League" and yet can't even make it in the Top 10 for GA. Your team seems to run goalies out of town every year and put the blame on them but it hasn't occured ONCE to any Flames fan that maybe it could be the defence that's that problem? Just keep peppering those excuses one after another because we all know what the real problem is. Enjoy your 5 year Johnny then it's Jerseyville.

They're the two teams considered to be Canada's best shot at the cup. Just look at the polls trying to compare the two.

the hatred between the fanbases is something ive never seen. Maybe the rivalry between hockey teams on the ice isn't the biggest, but the hatred for both teams and their fans is defintely the biggest between them.

Think its any team in Canada against the leafs,cause all can't stand the leafs.Think the best way to assess truly is to be in the host city to get the real vibe.Currently in MTL, hate goes strong with the leafs,bruins and senators.Not sure how things in the states are,not as many passionate fans per capita as in the great white north.
