That interesting because DeAngelo has the same question marks regarding consistency and work ethic.

I know it's a little contradictory for sure, but I view DeAngelo as one of the 5 best dman in this draft for his offensive ability and I actually really like how he has dealt with his issues this year. I think he has grown up a whole bunch and became more of a man. And I also think that there is a ton more forward depth in this draft than dman, so if you can get another quality dman early in the 2nd round, that's pretty good value because you are going to be able to get good forwards in the later rounds.

Atta' boy Gillies. I'd like to add that Mayo could probably be another option in the 54th OA spot.

I would absolutely love a draft where we ended up with McKeown at 34, and Mayo at 54.
