OT: Calgary 2026 Winter Olympics Referendum - Nov 13, 2018

I don't think there is a specific thread about this topic and the referendum will be held soon and hosting the Olympics is a very expensive proposition... so I thought I would start a thread on this important referendum.

I personally am against Calgary hosting these Olympics. I think the $5.2 billion projected cost is a low ball estimate and I think the City of Calgary council is hiding much of actual cost from the public.

By the way, this Nov 13 plebiscite is NON-BINDING. Good luck to the citizens and taxpayers of Calgary.
