C/W Linus Nassen - Frolunda Indians, SHL (2018 undrafted)

Missed almost the entire season during his original draft year and then was not selected in 2019 despite playing 27 regular season and six playoff contests for Frolunda as an 18-year-old; scoring better then a point-per-game in U20 games.

Last year he had five assists for the Sweden U20 team while playing for Timra in Allsvenskan.

While obviously the club's website is going to be positive, he has six points in his first 13 SHL games this year. Is he someone to watch as a potential free agent signee in the future?

That's not the clubs website. It's a couple of dudes that more often than not does not know what they're talking about. They thought Nässén would go in the second round this draft, based on that they read it on another site which is run by total hacks.

With that said, Nässén has had a positive start to the season. He's got a high work ethic and makes smart plays. When Karl Henriksson (drafted in the 2nd round 2019 by the Rangers) was out with an illness he took his spot in the lineup (with Lundqvist and Friberg) and played so well that Henriksson got new linemates when he came back.

His goals has been nice as well.





I don't know how high his potential is, but he has developed nicely even though his last year was disturbed by a lot of injuries.
