The whole Ottawa region plays U18 and some 04’s have a 1.5 PPG does this means they are 4-5 in the 2022 NHL draft ? In Qc too 15 yo kids play U18. That being said 1.3 PPG is nothing to be excited about at this point. The only kid we can say will be top 5 at this point is Shane. The other ones are very good but not exceptional. Way too early to mention them as top 4-5

All the best kids in Canada for U18 are playing in major junior whereas we still have a good amount of talent (especially in the midwest) still playing AAA/high school and Shattuck play the top teams, so I don't think that comparison totally holds up. Many of our world-beater U18 types are in junior but there are only so many spots in the USHL for them so the rest are still there for the most part. Agree though it is too early to be talking about most 15 y/o as single digit NHL draft this far away

While slotting in draft rankings this early is indeed pointless, Fleming is most definitely a potential prospect to be excited about. Your version of stat watching isn't any better than the version you're critiquing.

Well...Maddox is 1.62 ppg in his last 18 games, pace for 90+ points, as a 15 year old playing u18 hockey.

It isn't far fetched that he is going to improve as the season progresses ever further, from 1.62 ppg that is.
- he faced the first tough competition this season and "survived", he led his team in points as well the invitational tournament
with 6 points (1+5) in 3 games and scored 3 more points in 2 next games. 9 points in his last 5 games. (1.80 ppg)

Lets say, he improves 0.20 ppg to 1.82 ppg, that would put his pace to 100 points.
Who's the last 15 year old Shattuck's u18 player/center to score 100 or more points?,...well...
that be one Sidney Crosby, not even Nathan MacKinnon could do it, because he was 16 when he scored 100 or more.

The reason why he is at 1.38 ppg is because he went first 3 games 0+0 and wasn't very consistent after that either.

Maddox kept his good game on, even thou his team lost 3rd time in last 4 games (2 in a row)
Maddox scored 2 points in a 5-3 away loss.

31 points in his last 19 games (1.63 ppg)

I wonder which line he be centering, hoping that its the 1st, but its not guaranteed thou. - nothing is -
I'm guessing he has played as the 2nd line center this season for the Sabres.
