Moose Jaw was the highest scoring team in the entire CHL but Almeida is the only one of their top-5 point producers that’s returning. Good coaching there though, with long-time NHL assistant Tim Hunter. He’s gonna have to carry the mail a lot more.

Like others have said, it will be interesting to see if he was a passenger or can produce on his own at that level. Still, I love that they're taking chances on skill and speed. No more drafting big guys who show no offensive talent whatsoever even at lower levels (Hall, Moises Gutierrez, etc..)
