Battalion season ticket holder here! Was wondering when this would pop up, also thought his numbers might attract a WJC invite to camp but too tight there and Jackson doesn’t have draft/Team Canada pedigree.
He’s a guy who would’ve been drafted had there been a year last year (was invited as I drafted to Nashville rookie camp this year). I would say benefitting from playing on one of the best lines and PP in the OHL right now with Coe and Petrov, though that would make it seem like he is along for the ride which isn’t the case. Skating and shot are weakness, strengths are vision, passing, patience, playmaking. Doesn’t play the body often or forecheck overly hard, instead uses brain for positioning and is good with stick to strip/pick off pucks. Not a guy that will WOW you too often but is all over the score sheets.
