Oh, yeah, leads the entire USHL in goals and points :) .

He doesn't lead the USHL in goals or points. He's in a four way tie for 3rd in goals and 11th in points.

He started off a little slow too this year. 17 goals, 19 assists and 36 points in his last 28 games. Haven't seen him play, any one have details on his style of play?

Personally, I wasn’t that impressed with what I saw. Smaller guy with good elusiveness. Definitely has some skill, but nothing that stands out. I haven’t been watching him all year, so I could be missing what accounted for his point totals, but I just don’t see real high NHL upside.

Very small looking gets pushed around a bit. Good skating loves to attack with speed and good hands. Skill guy should go 3rd-4th round imo

A Welland, Ontario native and an Ottawa 67s Draft pick (fourth round, 66th overall in the 2018 OHL Draft) Colby Ambrosio opted to go the USHL/NCAA route instead of playing in the OHL. Playing for the Tri-City Storm, Ambrosio put up 26 goals and 24 assists for 50 points in 48 games before this past season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The strong season sets him up nicely for the 2020 NHL Draft, as well as for moving up to college hockey where he is committed to playing for the Boston College Eagles next season.

In 2018-19, Ambrosio scored 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points in 57 games. He also played one playoff game for the Storm. Ambrosio represented Team Canada White at the 2018 Under-17 World Hockey Challenge. He recorded three assists in five tournament games. Ambrosio bounced around in his minor hockey development. In addition to playing for Welland, he also spent time with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres in 2017-18. In his midget season, he put up 36 goals and 33 assists for 69 points in 66 games for Buffalo. The previous year, he played his bantam hockey for the Oshawa Generals Select Under-15 squad.

Super high drive and work ethic with elite straight ahead speed/power. Luv him in the 3rd round if he can put it all together

Ambrosio has really impressed in his first 2 games with BC. He's subbed in for Newhook's spot between Boldy and Hardman. His speed is impressive, has a similar type jump to Atkinson, and has a really tenacious style player. Scored his first goal against UMASS the other night.

I didn’t see a thread, so I thought I’d make one for Colby Ambrosio.

Drafted by Colorado in the 4th round in 2020 and has 4 goals and 6 points in 5 games as an 18-year old freshman for Boston College.

One of the youngest players in the draft a few months ago and has 5 goals/8 points through 8 games at Boston College to start his NCAA career.

Looks like an incredible find for Colorado late in the 4th round.
