this kid had a monster year.
26 games 26-24-50. Let the league in points per game at 1.72.
Anyone know anything about him?

He's a well-rounded player, reasonably quick with a good shot. Doesn't possess the kind of skill that will wow you or project him to be an offensive player at this point, but he's still pretty early in the development curve and doing very well for a 7th round pick.

Seventh rounders are normally not much more than an afterthought, and lots never get signed.

But in Aiden McDonough (Northeastern) and Arvid Costmar, the Canucks have a couple of late picks who look good to earn a contract at the very least. About all you can hope for with late round picks.

Should make the Swedish WJC team quite easily if they don't cancel the tournament. No center depth at all on that team.

Statically speaking from the 3rd round on, if they even only play 1 game, they were still a good pick. A full time NHLer from a 7th rounder is tremendous value.

I don't usually bump a thread for a 7th rd pick, the 3rd last pick of the 2019 draft. But this pick deserves a mention. A noticeable, agitating player, who is looking like a late rd gem for the Canucks. Nice pick.

Doesn't play like your average swede that's for sure. Would blend in well with some of the pesky Fins that have been around.
