By the numbers: Offseason grades for all 31 NHL teams
By Dom Luszczyszyn
I enjoyed reading through this article - I am not sure I agree with all of the grades, but he makes compelling arguments and I respect that.
This article judges offseason moves, so something like a great re-sgining (Kucherov) doesn't boost the score. It also doesn't really value rookies, although he did mention for the Leafs that the departures can be filled by capable internal replacements.
Overall, worth the read. Really enjoyed seeing Boston so low, and I agree with it. They lost depth, and will once again be relying on their top line to provide 35-40% of their offence, where as Toronto leans on it's scoring lines far less individually.
Tampa gets a bad grade, but the reality is they kept their core together and may still land Karlsson.
