Assume the cap is 72 mil next season.

Must use what their hit is next year, not this year. For example, Toews/Kane will be 10.5 instead of 6.3.

Since we don't know the $$ of the free agents (MSL, Green, Erat) who haven't signed yet, just assume they all sign for $5 mil since I'm not going to place a salary on each of them. Could be some steals there. It'll obviously be easier to not use them since they won't be listed on any fantasy calculators for next season.

Limit to 2 ELCs.

I was actually also going to take Talbot but needed to clear some cap for my 13th and 14th.

He's on the pricier end for 4th liners because of his experience and cup winning resume, but he's been so clutch for our PK unit; which has somehow been playing extremely well this season. If I were being serious I'd have still had Talbot on the 4th line because of that, his forechecking, and his knack for stepping up in big moments.

Actually would've had him partnered by another avs' bottom 6er (John Mitchell) as that dude really has made amazing strides since coming to colorado as a PKer and two way player; and before his injury he had even managed to learn from tanguay how to make a basic pass. Plus he can still Johnny Malkin his way into the offensive zone and pot some goals with his good shot. We're really missing him this year with Staz having left and MacK transitioning to C full time.

Playing favorites my more serious line up would be:

O'Reilly (6) - Duchene (6) - Hossa (5.275)
Landeskog (5.57) - MacKinnon (0.925) - Tanguay (3.5)
Roussell (2) - Stastny (7) - Oshie (4.5)
Bordeleau (1) - Mitchell (1.8)- Talbot (1.75)
Winchester (0.9)

Sekera (5) - EJ (3.75)
Vlasic (4.25) - Barrie (2.6)
Siemens (0.86) - Redmond (0.75)

Varlamov (5.9)
Scrivens (2.3)

Cap hit 71.63

Though Siemens should probably start the year in the AHL for a few weeks before taking an NHL gig.

but who will finish. Crosby obviously doesn't have 435874398 because he doesn't have a decent winger. Why wouldn't you give him a decent winger? Why?!
