Well, this is our defensively-responsible 3rd line center....for better or worse.
Certainly had a crap year last year stats-wise, but he has been capable of 15ish goals.
Good PKer. Could certainly see him with Girgs and Okposo, should we choose to go that route. Kahun could be a fit as his winger too, if we sign him.

A center spine of Eichel-Staal-Eakin-Lazar isn't terrible. It's not great, but it's not terrible. Certainly better than last year.

If we bring in another center to push Lazar to 13th forward......I'll be jumping for joy. Eakin is just fine as a 4th line center.
If Rieder gets consistent minutes, Eakin/Rieder goes a long way to maybe fixing our PK.
