Edmonton and Hall would certainly be interesting.
Even if they can find it, it's still sometimes not there (see: that rumor that ROR and Eichel didn't get along because they had a weird fistbump that one time).
Bjork can also skate like the wind and you can easily see how that’s worked out.
He definitely has not looked engaged recently. That is an entirely fair criticism of his play, and one you'd see pretty often on the Sabres board. I don't doubt that a trade to a playoff team could get the mojo going again, though.
Ok !ok! where do I sign........
I'm personally not that big a fan of DeBrusk, But, with the 1st, sure. In addition, we should not be giving up any picks. Unless it's a 7th.
Seems to favor the Sabers a bit but it’s a decent basis for a trade.
The issue with Hall was basically 100 small issues with and around him that has lead to one big issue. It was the same thing with Staal.
For Sam Reinhart?
Bruins don't really need to have salary retained as they have lots of deadline cap space. You are not getting DeBrusk nevermind a 1st rd pick. Not happening.
Hall isn't that valuable with the shit year he's having.
DeBrusk is having an absolutely miserable season and still has more goals than Hall. I’m not trading him for Hall let alone adding an asset on top of him. Not sure I’d even give up a 1st unless it’s conditional.
His value has never been lower and it’d bite us in the ass when he bounces back. Coincidentally Hall’s value has also never been lower.
You'd make this divisional rival happy if you did.
Hope we are both get our wish.
Not if Jack Eichel is going the other way. Not to derail this thread, but a hockey trade involving those two players could work for Boston and Buffalo.
I'd give up a 1st and a good prospect but not DeBrusk. I like Hall so long as he's not expecting $8m on an extension.
Sometimes, how about you?
I don’t have much interest in Hall period as the Bruins need is a goal scoring wing & Hall is more of a playmaker. I certainly would not include a 1st or DeBrusk or Frederic for that matter. If I were to make an offer it’d be Steen + 2nd at most. If Buffalo can ship him elsewhere for more value good for them.
They will only be in the same division for another month, next year will probably be back to the normal divisions.
Hall on the Bruins could work with Krejci and Pastrnak. Hall not known as a pure goal scorer but has speed and can set up guys. Pasta is all about shooting and scoring. Krejci has lost a step and was never fast. That could actually work as Craig Smith is in Pastas spot on the top line and is really good there. That would give the Bruins at least some balance on the 2 lines.
Make it easy debrusk for hall straight up. Both struggling and both had better years before.
Hall going to Buffalo left a sour taste in my mouth to be honest. I don't think anyone thought Buffalo's season would look like it has, but I also thought that Hall would want to play for a true current contender, and when he signed with Buffalo I really just thought he was a loser.
With Ekholm seemingly off the market and a paucity of LD on the market that would require the Bruins 2021 1st on the market with him out...
Pfft... I'm just going to talk myself back into Hall only to see him get dealt to the Caps or some shit.
I would take Debrusk alone
Um, they were in the same division before this season's temporary realignment.
