One of those hits that didn't look like much, but with trauma to the head/neck it doesn't take much in certain positions to do some serious damage.

Praying for this young man tonight - CPR and an AED were used on the field apparently.

Well it's all speculative to be clear. Cardiac events are not completely exclusive of head/neck traumas all the time, they can be connected. Of course it could be just a complete coincidence and he suffered a heart attack right after the hit.

They just mentioned that the Bills players have removed there gear and they are packing there stuff to go home.

Really hope NFL didn’t really said let’s just give 5 mins and that’s it. That’s pretty heartless. I still remembered about 10 yrs ago during a pretty much a beer league Rugby game back in HK. Where one of my teammates broke his thigh after a tackle, still remembered how the ref literally came and asked the ambulance to move further down from the pitch(field) bc there had already been such a long delay due to the injury and the game needs to go on. Players and coaches from both teams just lost it at the ref and told him to F off. The ref kept saying, we need to get going due to time…..
I hope this kid gets better

Sounds like commotio cortis. It happened to Pronger when he took a puck to the chest. Very dangerous.

His mother was at the game , went with him in the ambulance to the hospital with him.
