The way FSD has been talking about the rebuild makes me truly believe Holland is coming back next year.
Holland for one year... and then Yzerman can take the torch.
Tampa will be a boring place to manage after Kucherov will get his 11M deal and Vasilevsky will get his 7M payday. Especially, if they get Karlsson too and pay 11M for him after next season.
They win few Cups, but it will be like Chicago after success. High-priced stars will eat the cap depth and team falls to mediocrity.
I think Stevie doesn't want to live those years like Holland has lived since 2009 in a cap hell with a declining team. Detroit offers a new interesting project again.
