Niku could be the odd man out IMO, doesn’t fill a need on the team, partly a coaching decision. Small, mobile, offensive D who needs to improve his defensive coverage and/or a coach who will partner him up with a more defensive guy who can cover for him some.

In a bubble Montour likely holds more value then Lowry, but from a needs POV Lowry fills a need much more then Montour does.

Adam Lowry is a terrible hockey player. He had one very good defensive season and has been in a role above his head ever since. I would trade him for basically anything. Montour is a bonus.
