So they went from Ronald Darby -> EJ Gaines, Sammy Watkins -> Jordan Matthews, and picked up a 2nd and 3rd while also giving up a 6th? I think I like it?

I like the 2 trades too for BUF.

They now have two picks in each of the first 3 rounds in 2018. That Rams 2nd could be in the 30's. Matthews will probably produce similarly to Watkins.

He needs to be schemed open. Struggles to get separation. Matthews had 70 more targets than Watkins but only two more tds and 214 more yards.

Matthews was having some issues with drops, too. He's a guy. He can go out there and run routes and make some catches, but he's nothing special. There's a lot of Jordan Matthews' in the NFL.

I'm not a fan of Matthews. I think he's a slot receiver at best. The Eagles tried playing him outside if I recall correctly (during camp last year?), and it didn't work that well.

I was surprised when the Eagles didn't take a DB in the 1st round this past year, so seeing them make a move for Darby is certainly addressing a need.
