2.2 million is what I heard, but if they gave him a QO, then he would be eligible for arbitration.

No surprise there. We heard they were working on an extension a little under his QO. His QO was $2.25. He was solid in Buffalo's bottom 6 last year, apart from being terrible at faceoffs.

OK, since it's only one year. Not a fan of his game, but no harm done. Tries hard, isn't a jerk. By this time next year you want to see some of that army of forward prospects that BUF has start to take jobs away from players like this, though.
