Yeah, that was Paul Hamilton. It would be horrible asset management to put Erod through waivers, as he'd be claimed immediately. He's still one of the better wingers on this team.

ERod deserves a spot in the lineup. Last year he was one of maybe 5 guys who showed up to play and continued to grind even when the game/season was lost. He deserves at least a bottom 6 role. He would get claimed on waivers by someone, I'd rather see some dead weight getting sent down then giving away a young cost controlled depth player for free.

Imo Nylander did enough tonight to make the team. He worked his a** off tonight. His positioning was so good. So many times he was intercepting passes stripping guys of pucks because he was in the perfect place. His line mates didn’t help him much tonight.

I’m not a fan of sending them down but it’s a bit much to call it a tank move.

My bad. I was surprised by the comments so I passed them along. Had I realized it wasn’t Duff but Hamilton I wouldn’t have bothered.

The biggest question is do they keep 8 D. If they only keep 7, then ERod probably is safe. But I think they like having 8.

I heard that Ryan Miller was a regular old Brodeur with the biscuit...
