Drury seems like he may be in over his head. This is the exact kind of trade the Blues needed a young, proven player with potential for more. Horrid trade for the NYR.

Blais is a bottom 6’er that hasn’t shown the ability to stay healthy or adapt his defensive game and PK. Expendable player.

Buchnevich is a top 6 guy. This helps a lot.

I think his defensive game showed significant improvement last season, but still not to the level you really want from a guy like that and at his age.

I'm shocked we didn't have to trade our 1st. Wonder if Army will still look for another trade, or keep the pick. Kind of have best of both worlds right now.

Also, nothing but the best to Blais. I never got some fans fascination with him, but the fact he’s been able to carve out a career at all as a 6th(?) round pick is great for him. Hope he does well for the NYR in a bottom 6 role.
