That first TOR goal was a gift from the refs. Varlamov tied that puck up long enough to get a whistle and if the Laffs aren't pushing him into the goal it never rolls over the line.

Actually the Leafs postgame radio show was brutal last night.

After the game they were ripping Ranger and bringing up stuff from the past about his drinking/drug problems..and how Bernier has the potential to become the next Roy/Belfour!

I guess they thought they'd go 82-0-0.

Av's look super aggressive this year, Duchene was a beast last night. If not for Bernier and a non-whistle could have been 4-0.

Leafs still a complete disaster behind their own red-line.

Boston won't have an easy time. Duchene was dangerous every time he stepped onto the ice. I could see a slow start to the game for the Bruins.

Curious to see if Varly is the real deal on a consistent basis. Has some flashes where he looks like a solid goaltender but man, can throw some serious clunkers in there too.

Good luck on Thursday games against my Avs this week. Still love the Bruins as I spent the first 28 years of my life in NH. Never will forget watching the B's win their last cup and after the Marchand EN goal seeing a baby bear 10 feet outside my window.

Its been a weird experience watching myself going from hate to love for both Roy and Manning. "...Long, strange trip it has been."

Here's to a good, clean, hard fought game where both teams come out healthy. I've had a real fondness and a sense of gratitude towards the Bruins ever since they did the world a favor and disposed of Vancouver in the 2011 Finals. Seriously, thanks again for that.

Always liked the Nordiques/Avs, Burnaby Joe was a huge favourite of mine growing up here in B.C. Being in the other conference I can not find any hatred towards the Avs.

Will be nice to see McKinnon, Landeskog, and every Bruins favourite Matt Hunwick
