Only if we get HBO's 24/7 special with it.

I enjoyed the one at Fenway. Cost me a lot of money but it was fun.

No thanks. Play hockey in hockey rinks. Play baseball in baseball parks. Play football in football stadiums. It's really not any more complex than that.

Gotta be Gillette. Fenway is brutal for puck

Bill Belichick would never allow Foxborough ( Jan 1, 2016 is a Friday ) - If they didn't get a bye they would most likely have a home game that week.

The Red Sox have the Frozen Fenway concept down cold.

Can a Global Mod change 2015 to 2016 in title.

The novelty of this has already worn off.

If it had been limited to once every two seasons, then ok.

These outdoor games have been overused. Shocking, right?

I can't imagine Gillette being much better. Yes there are better sight lines but the place is freaking gigantic. I'd imagine you would need binoculars to see anything from seats above club level and anything in the end zones.

The reality is that it's a cool concept but it's terrible in practice. As long as you accept you're there for the atmosphere and not to watch hockey, you're good.

Would never happen. January 1, 2016 is on a Friday and the Pats play on Sunday the 3rd (Week 17).

No way in hell will the Patriots agree to it for a multitude of reasons number 1 being the condition of the field since it takes days for them to prepare everything.

Factor in the nightmare of getting everyone down there. It's too far from Boston and not easily accessible by public transportation.

I could see it at Harvard Stadium but it will likely be at Fenway again which is fine by me.

My ass is already cold thinking about sitting on the stone slabs at Harvard Stadium on Jan 1.

Would be a cool venue though. Traffic nightmare, less parking than Fenway.
