The Boston Bruins announced that the organization will honor the 40th anniversary of the 1977-78 Bruins team which had a NHL record-holding 11 20-goal scorers on February 13 prior to the Bruins game against the Calgary Flames. The players will be joined by coach Don Cherryfor a ceremonial puck drop prior to the game, and there will be other elements throughout the game which will honor the team.

The 1977-78 Boston Bruins are the only team in NHL history to feature 11 different 20-goal scorers in the same season. Peter McNab (41), Terry O'Reilly (29), Bobby Schmautz (27), Stan Jonathan (27), Jean Ratelle (25), Rick Middleton (25), Wayne Cashman (24), Gregg Sheppard (23), Brad Park (22), Don Marcotte (20) and Bob Miller (20) each reached or surpassed the 20-goal mark to help lead the team to an appearance in the Stanley Cup Final. The previous record for 20-goal scorers in a season was 10, a feat that was accomplished by three teams: 1970-71 Boston Bruins, 1974-75 Montreal Canadiens, 1980-81 St. Louis Blues.

Can someone help me out with this pic.
Looking at the left hand side, in the front is Cashman, Sheppard (?) then O'Reilly.
Who are the two between Cash and Sheppard ? I know Miller is next to Grapes.
One of them must be Schmautz and the other Park, but I don't think either of them look like Park.
Park had/has a real round face.

It is Al Sims. Even more than Orr's Big Bad Bruins, the Lunch pail AC will always be my favorite Bruins team. Cashman and Schmautz would be suspended for life the minute the stepped on the ice in Bettmans NHL.

It will be fun to see these guys.

My Dad had ST to the old Boston Braves (they were like the Providence B's) . The seats were on the glass right next to the P.Box. We saw Terry O'Reilly often .

I am very old. I was around for the 70 and 72 cups . I didn't have ST and wasn't at the games but I was a fan.

That was a great team,to bad they couldn’t have won a cup,but the Habs were just to strong back then.Came awfully close to beating them, but yeah don’t even want to talk about that game seven!

Loved those Don Cherry led Bruins teams, such tough teams, came so close to beating a loaded Habs team except for that infamous too many men on the ice call. Stan Jonathan IMO is still the best pound for pound fighter in hockey history.

Do you know why? Yet another great Bruin from the past.
When he had a bad back his wife didn't go to the games and I would sit in my mothers seat and she would sit in his wife's

I loved Cashman - but that year I went to about 20 extra gsnws
