Good signing. I like it. Once Chiarelli signs a couple more of college free agents like Vatrano to re-stock the prospect pool is a positive. It is a fast way to a re-tool of a team that needs more Hockey youngsters with skill. All it requires is monetary enticement for the College free-agents to turn pro without spending a draft choice.

I attend UMass and watched a few games this year from him.

He hasn't really stood out in the games I watched. But he was the leading scorer so that means something. Strong north south player with a heavy shot. Willing to go to the dirty areas. Has a knack for just scoring goals, always around the net or creating a scoring chance.

He needs to work on skating and two way play though, he's undersized and could be stronger on the puck.
