BOSTON: The Bruins will face their first true test of the season when they host Martin Brodeur and the Blue Jackets this evening. The Jackets have gotten off to a slow start and are looking to turn things around in Boston tonight. However, Bill Guerin - the new Captain of the Bruins - thinks it will be tough to beat his team at home: "We played relatively well on the road these past few nights, and we're excited to be home and match-up against one of the better western conference teams - I don't care what their record might suggest - they're good. But we're ready for them, and our fans will get behind us and the Jackets will find that tough to put up with for 60 minutes. Bring it on."

The Bruins go into tonights game undefeated after 5 games this season with a record of 3-0-2. They're looking to extend the streak tonight with a win against Columbus. After the Jackets, they will play host to another tough team - their eastern conference rival, the Ottawa Senators. The next two home games will serve as early indicators of how GM Krueger's team matches up against the best teams in the league. Expect changes if these two games do not go well...
