Will the Bruins be quiet at the deadline? I asked GM Krueger that very question this morning outside the Rusty Bean:

"At this point we're quite pleased with the performance of our team. As always, if there is a player out there that we feel will improve our team's chances at making a run in the post-season, we consider it. Our aquisitions of Nolan and Redden this year have significantly strengthened the team, and right now we're feeling quite good about our cup chances. However, you never know - we may make a move. We may just sit tight. You'll just have to wait and see."

The verdict? Boston fans will know in the next 24 hours or so if there will be anymore changes in Boston. However, for now - Krueger is keeping tight lipped about it if anything has been decided.

Bruins Make their Mark-ov...

This just in from the AP:

The Boston Bruins have aquired defenseman Danny Markov, NJ 1st 2005, and BOS 2nd 2004 from the Colorado Avalanch in exchange for winger Maxim Afinogenov, ATL 1st 2005, BOS 1st 2005, and STL 7th 2005 .

"Markov is the player that we were looking for at the deadline - a bruising defenseman who can also fill in on the power play. He is coming into his prime, and we have confidence in his abilities to make this team better. Welcome aboard Danny."
