Quiet night offensively for Bruins prospects through 2 periods. No points or fights to speak of for Carlo, DeBrusk or Gabrielle.
Gabrielle did draw the penalty that led to the goal that tied the game and Jake is a +1, as his line scored the Rebels goal. He is playing with Helewka and Philp tonight. 1-1 after 2 in PG. Sutter is just livid at the call drawn by Gabrielle. Might've been a dive. Academy award stuff. Sutter going bananas after the period. Good finish coming.
Carlo's team is down 3-2 after 2. Carlo playing even up in the +/- department.

A great 3rd period in Prince George. Eventually the Rebels would win the game 2-1 and a good study of both prospects. The Rebels took a 2-1 lead early in the 3rd and the Reels immediately went into a defensive shell. That was the challenge for DeBrusk and company - was just to hold back the Cougar onslaught, and it was that. Trailing a goal, Prince George leaned heavily on their two scoring lines, including the #1 unit with Gabrielle. That line was electric, creating high quality chance after high quality chance, but the Rebel tender was up to the challenge. The Cougars out shot the Rebels 16-5 as they pressed to tie the game. At the end of the day, DeBrusk and the Rebels would take the 2-1 win. Both players played well in their rolls. DeBrusk was scoreless and +1 on the night. Gabrielle was scoreless and -1 on the night. Gabrielle went after DeBrusk in the games final shifts after whistles and ended up taking a roughing on him at the final whistle. Nothing serious though. Just pushed him around a bit, a face wash and then cross checked him to the ice.
