Successful power plays, IMO, are one`s where the puck is consistently moving, Chara doesn`t do that well enough and should no longer be on it

I agree and as you alluded to, it has nothing to do with his foot speed.

The problem is that his hands are too slow.

Two, three, four quick passes, then it gets to him and the whole flow of the play comes to a stop.

Trivia - when is the last time you`ve seen a full out slapper from Chara during a game...

There might be a reason why we can see more Bruins in front of the net for a little while now.

It's not ideal but I'm fine with him on the 2nd unit.


I'd prefer to have C. Miller and Morrow out there in the same game, but we all know that's not happening as long as Kevan Miller is here. Wouldn't need to worry about putting Chara on that unit if Claude ever played both of them
