I have to disagree with this. I went to the dolphins game at AT&T stadium yesterday. I pulled up my ticket while walking to the lines, but by the time I got to the scanner it timed out. And for some reason, my network couldn't pull it back up. I had to get my moms phone to pull it up after about 15 minutes. This can be a big problem if it happens that someone has the ticket, but can't pull it up on their phone. Yes, I get I should have saved it to my phone ahead of time, but sometimes this can happen.

Being 1 year away from 50 I consider myself a crotchety type...

But I def prefer actual tickets for any event (be it an actual ticket, or a printed sheet of paper)...Like others have mentioned - I could see it becoming a nightmare for season ticket holders.
