Holy overreaction by most of you guys. Those of you bashing on Eriksson for having a "bad game" when it was first game back from a concussion and not playing for a week :shakehead

Some pros from the game:
1. Marchand looked a lot better than his previous games.
2. The whole Marchand-Bergy-Loui line was buzzing today they just
have to finish their chances.
3. Soderberg and for the most part that whole 3rd line looked good.
4. The overall play was better from the whole team, that's not
saying much, but they have to clean up their game, too sloppy.

Some cons from the game:
1. Merlot line looks like their missing a jump in their step. Not
something to be worried about imo.
2. KIL line just looked sluggish for the most part but had some
good moments throughout the game (Hamilton goal to be one).
3. The B's overall need to execute their game a whole heck of a lot
better. They're just too sloppy.
4. I'm surprised about Tuukka's play over the last couple of games.
He'll come around though, but this team can't depend on him to
win the game for them while they play like **** all night.
5. This one goes to all those idiot fans booing Seguin and Pevs.
Instead of booing former Bruins for no reason, how about you
inject some life into the building and cheer for your team instead
of sitting there on your phones and pointlessly booing? It's not
like either of them were FA and left for more money. How about
boo the B's for having you pay for a $85 nap.
ALA 2013 zombies.

He definitely had some chances tonight where he should have taken the shot. I think, as he gets comfortable, he'll shoot more. I'm not worried about Loui.

Time to stick Soderberg on that line instead of Marchand, IMO. He looked better tonight, but not nearly good enough.

Marchand has killed every line he has been on this year. I thought Smith/Ericksson/Bergy looked good too before loui got hurt.

Dougie has looked really good imo. Some gaffs that come with being an inexperienced dman but he and Krug have completely changed the look of the defense corps. t'll be exciting watching them for years to come.

Despite the fact that over the years it had been shown over and over that the season is an 82 game grinding marathon, and that even championship caliber teams are not good all the time, that is exactly what some here expect from the B's.

Personally, I could give two sh*** what happens during the regular season as long as the B's finish in the top eight in the East and throw the switch come playoff time.
This team is too good to finish anywhere below 4th in the conference.

I blame this loss on the idiots who decided to boo and chant "Seguin"

Ugg....

Tyler won a bunch of faceoffs....He always did well in the shootouts.

Long drive home...

I hope the B's don't loose to Florida...

Honestly, I think they are already starting to tire him out from relying on him way too much. Through the past few games, the defense has not been making his job easy, that's for sure.

It seems every year we start off slow but I still kinda wonder how good this team really is,I said this earlier but I guess we just wait and see.

I mean 2 years ago we won what?.. 3/10 games to start the season and then went on a tare that sent a message to everybody at the time in December 2011 if we were going to set a new record for GF/GA. We shall see. On a side note this team has to find it's new identity.

You know what else they're liberated from?

The playoffs.

Well, except Tyler. To him the playoffs apparently equate to:

"**** dah teamb curfooo, and shiiiii....wheeew! Iymb supplosed tbo be slome bish lyke Bergerlon abnd Charla dat gloes to bled earlby? I jink those twbo bishes undner the table.

From an interesting Herald article this morning.
http://bostonherald.com/sports/red_sox_mlb/boston_red_sox/2013/11/red_sox_could_land_marlins_giancarlo_stanton_with_bold

“I remember at the time, one of the things we discussed, and Theo felt strongly about, is if you try to replicate exactly what you have, it’s probably not going to work the same,†said Ben Cherington, then one of Epstein’s lieutenants. “I think we have to go into this offseason with the same general mindset.â€

Looks like I didn't miss much.

Only question what happened with Benn and McQuaid?

Ran into Iggy on the way down the stairs leaving; girls got pictures and explained pleasantries with one if the top 10 RW ever to lace them up. For a snap shot guy could not have scored higher in kindness

The players lost this game not the crowd.

Who cares if the crowd booed? It happens and none of us can stop it.

The crowd was awful tonight. A lot of college kids plus the select few who ruin a game for a lot of people.

There was a guy who was 3 rows up from me that decided to put the Marathon Bomber's last name on the front of his shirt followed by a small sucks underneath. He got kicked out before the game started.

It was an awful night and just have to put it behind them and move on to Thursday.

Jarome Iginla did end the night on a great note by taking a picture with myself and DKH's daughter. He is all class and makes me so happy he's finally a Bruin.

I think this was sarcasm...mostly.

I see a lot of people on here saying Tyler didn't want to be traded, and that it was all Chia, etc., etc. blah, blah, blah, and while that's technically true, Seguin played a very large part. If he had kept his nose clean, he would still be in Boston. Does everybody think Chia wanted to trade his #2 pick, a kid that was supposed to be the centerpiece of this franchise for the next decade? I highly doubt it. Makes the B's look bad, like they didn't do their homework. If Seguin hadn't given the B's a reason to think they made a mistake by trusting him with a long term 6 mil per deal, someone else would have been dealt.

Kid was 21, a millionaire, and owned Boston, but he didn't want to be part of the B's culture. He put himself before the team, and with Chara aging, the B's couldn't wait for Seguin to grow up. He gets to go to a non-hockey city, where he will be under less of a microscope and also likely won't win for a couple of years. Kid is still getting paid a ton of $$$ to play hockey so no tears for him from me.

So, you are saying: The Bruins obviously did not do their homework. They drafted him, AND gave him a long term 6 mil per deal

When people talk about Seguin and his age just remind them that Bergeron came into the league at 18 and was hand the keys to the team when he was 20. Seguin got to be a star on a team filled with more established stars. Bergeron literally had to carry the team and was given the A and he managed to stay out of trouble all at a younger age then what Seguin is now. Seguin on the other hand seems to have had the coddled, get by on talent alone mentality since day one and when you factor in the partying which affected his play they B's wouldn't put up with in so he's gone. The "If he gave us half of Kane...." comment says it all.

Pretty pathetic and embarrassing showing tonight from our fanbase. Oh well.

The Bruins need an identity check.

Ugg....

I did not understand the ferocious booing of Tyler. He did lay a turd during the 2013 playoffs but he helped win a Cup in 2011 by turning around the Tampa series in Game 2 when it was looking like the Bruins might be going down 0-2. He may have played below expectations during his Bruins years and he may not have fit in with what the organization wanted from him but he was a decent player for his time here. I thought that he was going to get a better reception than what he got. When they played a video of his Bruins highlights the crowd barely reacted to it.

I also thought that Peverley deserved a better reception than what he got.

I hope that Timmy Thomas gets the reception that he deserves on Thursday.
