Sweeney do your job, get Hayes the hell out of Boston. As long as he is on the roster, any possible excuse to suit him up, Julien will, this is unacceptable.

TSN's Bob McKenzie's twitter feed contains an article reporting some wonderfully encouraging news for injured former Bruin Craig Cunningham. An awesome Christmas gift for Craig and his family! The fight that lives in a hockey player to preserve is luckily not just confined to on-ice challenges they may face.

"Phenomenal news from @RoadrunnersAHL and Craig Cunningham and family."

Who the heck is Edmonton missing? Playing well despite injuries.

It may be Ference who is driving up the numbers. He has been out all year and don't think he is expected to return but he is still under contract with them.

He accounts for 34 of those games as does Vatrano for the Bruins.

Edmonton is missing Nurse (9 games) Fayne (20 games), Pakarinen (34 games). They've only had 9 players play in every game.

They do add up fast. Nurse up to 9 already surprised me. Good on the Oilers for their effort to overcome it.

Hey, where you able to find a little time to review the footage of those Q picks? You know how much I need the help.

    Have a good one.

David Pastrnak, out the last two games because of elbow surgery, participated in today’s optional practice at Warrior Ice Arena. Claude Julien said it’s possible that Pastrnak could play on the road trip, either tomorrow against Florida or Friday against Carolina. The 19-goal scorer has not dressed since last Thursday against Anaheim.

Julien also said Frank Vatrano could play on the trip. It would be the season debut for Vatrano following preseason foot surgery.

If both Pastrnak and Vatrano get the green light, the Bruins would have to sit two wings. Noel Acciari and Tim Schaller are at the highest risk of taking a seat. Neither performed well in last night’s 4-2 loss to the Islanders. Jimmy Hayes would have been a candidate to be a healthy scratch, but the right wing has rediscovered his legs and hands in the last two games.
