Obvious statements are obvious, but I feel like if he's been cleared to skate his knee must be cleared medically and it's just a matter of time now. As others have mentioned, it will take a few weeks for sure for him to get back up to speed, but with the bye week coming up I feel like he's going to be practicing with the big boys by the time they return from the bye.

I love the Athletic overall. Not sure about the DGB articles by Sean McIndoe. He seems to thing he's a standup comedian sometimes. I mention that because the jury is still out on this guy for me.

I say all that because in his Power Rankings this week he states the B's lost Rask to "an apparent concussion" and "he’s expected to miss weeks". I've not heard anything of the sort. Anyone else???? Is this guy McIndoe legit?

I like Sean, but he’s making a huge, unfounded assumption here. He doesn’t know anything about Tuukka.

Clifton should be back sometime after the break or by mid February at the latest
And Miller skated for 15 minutes on Monday but we haven't had any info since? Myself being a knee specialist i think best case is he's back around the deadline, possibly the week after, anyone have newer info?

I haven't seen any updates yet. I'm no doc, but what you're saying about roughly another month to get into game shape isn't outlandish IMO. I want him to take his time, and get up to speed 100% before he returns, but when he does, I feel like he'll be a huge asset.

Somewhere in the middle
I hope Clifton gets back soon and let's hope he is in game shape. I still see him as becoming solid defenseman with good offensive numbers. He has good stick handling , kind of wonder how he would be as a forward instead.

One thing is certain, the kid will hit anything that moves.

If I recall correctly he was all over Ovechkin earlier this year when the B's played the Caps....Ovi is a monster....Clifton has some jam.

I dont think its ever been reported. Looking through the NHL game notes for the game he got hurt (12/29 against Buffalo) his last mention was blocking a shot.
