It's just a flesh wound! Have at you!
I have this feeling it's not that bad and wouldn't be surprised he could return for game 2 in the finals. He was closing his hand quite well on the bench. Could be a deep bone bruise. Crossing my fingers.
...but a few posts back you didn't even know what happened?
It's been 6 weeks since he last played a game. That's just too much rust to knock off for critical games. You can't take that chance at this point.
Well I appreciate your optimism, let's hope it isn't broken, but I wouldn't bet against it
Besides, Clifton is playing great as are all the other guys. It's nice if he's an option
I have no worries about killer stepping right in when he’s ready. He always seems to play well in big games
"Multiple sources have since indicated to 98.5 The Sports Hub that the Walpole, Mass. native's postseason is "done.""
Bruins send Chris Wagner back to Boston for further testing
I hate this crap where everyone plays hush hush. Just tell the truth if he's done. He took a puck to a bone obviously, so why would you go back to Boston for an evaluation. An Xray is an Xray. It's not like an ACL or MCL sprain that you get a second or third option. There are 2 options Broken or not Broken. For his and the teams sake I hope its the latter, but if it was the latter he would have stayed with the team and iced it.
I agree . Broken or not broken simple.
If he had to go back to Boston, it's got to be broken, feel bad for the kid as he was playing well the past few games.
Maybe a severe deep tissue bruise. Hoping.
**** that doesn't sound good
...make us proud Noel
Just got a txt from my mom, she talked to his uncle and he said he’s “ok”...not sure if that means he’s got no broken bones or is the Boston version of ok which means “not dead” lol
Guess we’ll have to see
If it’s a bone bruise he’ll be in the finals, they’ll have about 7-11 days off depending on when they finish this thing
Acciari should continue the physical play, but it's unfortunate since Wagner seemed to be finding his scoring touch, which is not really a part of Acciari's game.
I think I agree. If it was broken they likely find that out in Raleigh. I am guessing a slight fracture, but we shall see.
Whitney just said on Chiclets that he is hearing Kevan Miller will return if we make SCF
Whitney is really connected to a lot of the guys so I can believe it
Is he buddies with some of the guys? I know he grew up in Scituate/Thayer/BU but didnt know if he is connected to guys at B's
I'm guessing he knows some of the guys through his relationships with the Hayes boys, Keith Yandle and a few others.
Funny, Whitney's co-host there, Rear Admiral, said at the start of the playoffs that he would not be returning at all. I know Whitney is former player and all but I actually think RA has much better sources when it comes to the Bruins. I think he mentioned it was broken/fractured kneecap or something.
Don't need him even if he's ready. Also doesn't make any sense to me to plug a guy into the lineup that hasn't played in such a long time. Way too much potential for rust, and not the appropriate time to be trying to shake that rust off.
I think Rear Ad is coming in from the front office side whereas Whitney is coming in more from the player side.
In all honesty, the Miller situation falls somewhere in the middle.
Part of me would love to see him back for at least a game but the other side of me says leave Clifton in the line up.
I called it before and I'm calling it now Wagner arm not broken. Book it.
I’m not that impressed if you are just making stuff up and guessing
