Confirmed with Link: Bruins hire Ryan Hardy USNTDP Director of PP as Amateur Scout

I wasn't quite sure where to put this, or if it even deserved its own thread, but the Gretzky thread seemed popular enough so this might be interesting to some people. Obviously please move this to the appropriate thread if it doesn't need its own.

Per Jeff Cox (and some others), it looks like the Bruins have hired Ryan Hardy, the now-former Director of Player Personnel for the US National Development Team Program, as an amateur scout:



Interesting move considering how many former/future NDTP players the Bruins have taken in the last few years while Hardy was there. At the NDTP, he presided over the scouting efforts (among other things), and before that he worked for the NHL Central Scouting Service as an amateur scout here in New England. Looks like he has also coached in the USHL, NAHL, and NCAA.

Anyone know anything else on him, or anyone he's "discovered"?

Sounds like a solid choice. This is the kind of "out of the box" thinking that this team needs even if it's just a hiring of a scout.:handclap:
