No surprise, but a reminder the chances of anyone leaving for all the other supposedly plum arenas and franchise opportunities in New England are slim.

The bruins will be there as long the real partnership stays intact Dunkin Donuts Center | AHL Providence Bruins | Delaware North The other arenas in New England are not bad dispite what some fans in Providence may think Bridgeport and Manchester are both newer than the civic center

I've never heard anyone say the other arenas are bad per se (The city also factors in to that) but despite what outsiders might say, the Dunk is not bad either. ;)

They're the best place for Boston's AHL affiliate. Only way I think it should end is IF Providence gets an NHL team.

Providence might get a team if the NHL expands to 50 or 60 teams several decades from now.

Providence is always in the top ten for Stanley Cup TV ratings, regardless of who plays.

    I'm just sayin'.

No, we shouldn't have an NHL team. Neither should Hartford.

Not doubting how much the area likes hockey. It's just you know the NHL has about 10-20 cities ahead of it on the expansion priority list.

I know... I was just speaking hypothetically. I was just trying to say how strong the relationship between both teams are.
