Should have traded Cehlarik for anything he could have gotten. He will not resign with Boston, and probably won't get called back up.

I think so also

Though he will be a RFA after the season is completed. He may go the Czarnik route and ask for a release
unless Sweeney plans to match or offer him a decent starting deal

Sad.

Much rather have either one. Really like Kuhlmans Speed and work effort, thought he would be a perfect fit for the third line. I guess by the end of the season him or Cehlarik will be back up replacing Backes.

I just don't see any room for Backes or Nordstrom in the Bruins line-up, when everyone's healthy.

Would you rather have

Nordstrom Coyle Backes

or

Cehlarik Coyle Kuhlman

Mark Divver Retweeted AHL Communications
Kuhlman & Cehlarik sent to Providence. Expect they will be recalled immediately

Mark got it wrong

and the first post of this thread proves it

Also someone posted while there is no roster limit ... only 4 non emergency callup is allowed from now until the playoffs

Bruins basically don't want to use it up on Cehlarik/Kuhlman this early

Crazy to think this wouldn't be deplored by Cassidy. Guess the bruins don't want to hurt Backes's feelings. :boredom:

Cassidy is probably tired of the 1 on 1 talks with Backes

Like someone said... what else can Cassidy suggest? Install rockets on Backes skates...

Who else is Cassidy supposed to play there? There are literally no other forwards on the roster.

This is a Sweeney issue.

Also players who PK aren't useless....

Marchand, Bergeron, Kuraly, Wagner, Acciari, Coyle, Johansson, Heinen

All can play on the pk...there is no shortage

Replaceable and useless seem pretty different to me

Don't get me wrong he's the 13th forward on this team but it's not his fault Sweeney sent down two better offensive players.

The trade deadline deals are good under the assumption that when everyone is healthy Backes is out of the lineup and nowhere near the problematic 3rd line.

dafuq are you talking about? czarnik was a group 6 free agent, which means he was free to
sign anywhere.

Then scratch that

I do still agree with @whatsbruin.8 that Celly is disgruntled and wont resign when the time comes

i've long thought they would trade him for a 3rd round pick, so we'll see if that happens before the draft.
