Former very high level hockey players have no credentials to scout other hockey players? Really? I know you are a massive troll but this is bad, even for you.

I'm pretty sure that all scouts have to start at some time with no experience? One would imagine that former high level players that are smart, observant and have a good head for the game would be good candidates to be scouts?

The system has been in place forever. First you have bird dogs that tip a scout and then you bring in a cross checker.

What has changed is now there is video of everybody.
