First season I could watch the Bruins- our town finally got cable!!!!!!
Mother****ing Habs I hate those poutine swilling aholes
I hope the guy in the Bruins jersey decked him.
My formative years were the '70s. In Detroit. Dead Wings v. dynasty.
I have no quibble. Always respected MTL as a club. Media and fans, not so much.
Still feel that way today. It's like the Yankees or Patriots. You hate them largely because they're so damn good.
PS I did go down to the penalty box at the old Olympia to curse (politely) the Flower in '78/'79.
The thread title. Good lyrics.
Anyone ever listen to stop making sense / talking heads ?
absolutely, do yourself a favor and watch the concert/movie of the same title
Just for fun,
Come on now betz, that thing is on the list, you can’t hit an endangered species
To this day, one of my favourite movies ever. Brilliance.
agreed, as relevant today as back then
In 1969, recording under the name A. J. Thicke, here is actor Alan Thicke with his debut recording. He would record a few more singles and albums throughout his life, as well as being a prolific songwriter. May he rest in peace.
I think he wrote "The Facts of Life" and (?) "Different Strokes" too.
1] Remember "Thicke of the Night"?
2] Leo Dicaprio (sp) on the sitcom.
He did and then his son proceeded to rip off Marvin Gaye
To be fair he did it with gratuitous nudity.
What a great game!!!!!
