As a Wild fan I am not sure I agree with this one.
I'm with you. Boudreau is not the problem.
RIP in BBQ
6-3-1 in the last 10... 3 points out of a Wild card spot with 3 games in hand.
If this is true Guerin's an idiot.
Is this a case where there's a guy available they really want? (Like Vegas). I'm confused
There has to be more than performance????
In the hunt for playoffs and team has been playing well recently. I don’t get it.
and why not in offseason?
Great coach, wonder where he ends up next?
Why wouldnt they wait until the offseason to fire Humpty Dumpty?
Not really surprising.
Was he the problem though? I like Bruce and his coaching style from afar.
Preemptive move to selling off more players? Guerin's prior comments suggest he has no problem moving more core players.
How does MAF do it
He most certainly was not the problem. Look at how many coaches the Wild have burned through since #11 and #20 came to town. Look how many mid-season slumps the Wild have had since #11 and #20 have come to town. Goaltending didn't help either.
Would have loved to see Nash pick up Bruce.
Curious where he will go from here. Montreal or Dallas would be fun.
I don't get it, does Minnesota really feel they're good enough to fire the coach in an attempt to push to make the playoffs?
I don't think he'll be out of work long. He's pretty well respected around the league.
He was not the problem. I don't agree with his firing, but I do understand it. Guerin is a the new GM and new GMs generally want to hire the guy they want.
