I could not disagree more.

Given how badly the C position has been hit , I call for a rope a dope defensive posture.

These games mean something, this ain't a "race down for a pick" situation.

Bring up the safest option up from the AHL, training/shmaining

I don't expect the Leafs to compete for the Cup this year.

Everything is training for the Cup.

i don't have a problem seeing him on second or third line with more protected min.

it might be worth it to see if raymond can be shifted to centre. he's not a great playmaker, but his actual passing is adequate and his speed creates a lot of space for passing lanes.

so maybe something like this

jvr-raymond-kessel
lupul-mcgregg-kulemin
clarkson-mclemment-smith
mclaren-carrick-orr

lupul can mentor mcgregg with offensive zone play and kuli can cover defensively.

bozak is a third wheel on offense anyways, but raymond breaking in will give kessel and jvr more space. the only problem is that you don't have a defensively responsible guy on first line.

Just put up 2 goals and 2 assists today (both primary assists as well)!
