Actually, Bibi was the alien in the show, and Geneviève, the "terrien".

Tony Marinaro ‏@TonyMarinaro 4m

BTW, PK Subban only played 20:52. Gorges played 23:41. Diaz played 24:04. For the Blues, Pietrangelo played 30:49, Bouwmeester played 29:06

Blues played their best players when they could. We did not. Why we didn't is a mystery to me. I don't consider a one goal lead to be justification to play the bottom pairing players that much.

Even the dudes on AC are questioning Therrien's handling of Subban. Never thought it'd come to that.

P.K 20:52
Gorges 23:41
Diaz 24:04
Markov 25:26
Bouillon 19:57

what is this...? i dont even...
Diaz has way too many minutes. nothing wrong with using Markov so much but Subban and Markov are the two best D and should be the minute leaders.

We only had 1 pp tonight, you guys do realize this right? I know this board is full of experts but I thought I would just add this fact.

So? Subban's proven he can play in any situation and Therrien is playing him 20. It's ridiculous.

Your fact doesn't mean ****. PK is our best defenseman.. no reason to play Gorges or Diaz more than him.

I never watch AC. They are making a whole lot of sense tonight as far as I can see though.

No one cares
So? Subban's proven he can play in any situation and Therrien is playing him less than 20. It's ridiculous.

He also gets 2-3 extra minutes a night because he is so lethal on the pp no? We had one pp and therefore he ended up with less minutes. I am not saying that he is used correctly by Therrien, I am merely saying that his minutes were down due to less pp time.

So what you're saying is that Subban is a PP specialist and nothing more?

For **** sake Gilbert Delorme is actually making sense.

That 4th line is no what -5 in the last three games? Sit Parros and fast he lost his mojo when he shaved the stache.

Although having more PPs will help the scoring, it is a factor in a game you can't control. You can't control which way the calls will go nor can you control which way the puck will bounce.

You have to focus on the factors you can control and use them to your advantage. Having your best guys out there when it matters most is one of those factors. This is something that was blatantly missing tonight.

Everyone hates on this board. More haters than supporters, that's why this thread is going to be longer than a PGT after a win. Hating everything is an easy way to be right
Because the team has flaws. In this thread you've been whining and dining like the best of 'em so I don't really get your point.

I've critically and not-so-critically discussed Bergevin's moves, every single one, at length since last year. From the Price contract to how he handled Subban to the Cole deal all the way up to today. So far everything I laid on him has been right and I'm not happy about it.

He's an overrated GM and everyone is going to say "give him more time, he hasn't made his stamp yet" when in fact he inherited a great core and dunked it in wet dog turds. PK not being signed right now amps up so much pressure on our organization - what if the Flyers sign him to an offersheet and he bounces - what then? Oops, damn Bergevin was an idiot... oh well!

I want to see Subban on Team Canada, the reigning Norris trophy winner should not play ****ing 20 minutes a game against his direct competitors who played 30. **** this coach and **** his GM who is exactly the same as the old one. There was no change in culture, he kept the same sorry talentless captain and kept the same sorry, smurfy culture. Briere, DD, Bouillon... **** this "brain trust" **** them all.

Think about that.
Therrien SHOULD be but I'm not predicting it... I have an unblemished record of I-told-ya-sos to protect.

Don't worry it's all part of the plan to make him worse so re-signing him cheaper will be more of a possibility. In the mean time, have more losses.
