It depends on what kind of contracts the teams make with RFAs/UFAs. The Avs for example have gaps that are easy to fill unless they hand out 11 million/year to Rantanen and 8 million/year to Barrie and so on.

I'm so very happy that Compher and Zadorov are doing well. They were two of my favourite Sabres prospects during the Tank years and it sucked seeing them get traded.

Was watching a game against Nashville a few weeks ago and JT was a beast, such a fun player.
