I still think he can play. Guy hustles.
Gionta retires; will take role in Sabres front office
This is the other Gionta, right?
He retired in 2015...just didn't have the decency to tell anyone.
I don't believe that Gionta is retired. Next thing people will be saying that Nixon is dead.
OMG, He's retiring!>?!>!> OMG!!!!!
10 years from now, you all will think back and vividly recall where you were when (one of the) Gionta retired.
A pretty good career. He thanked LL for believing in him as a 5’7” hockey player. He played 16 years in the league and won a Stanley Cup.
He was the Devils MVP in 2005-6 with 48 goals and 89 points.
Good for him that he got a job within the Sabres organization
At least we have the other gionta still....sigh
