He was probably 5'7 with skates on. Played the game the right way for a long time even after he lost his scoring touch.

Is that photo taken from a retirement press conference? Like did he retire a member of the Sabres? If so, I'd associate him with the Devils / Habs more than the Sabres tbh.

It’s likely because he’s taking on a role in the Sabres organization.

I can see him getting in a player development role where he has the option to go to a lot of Amerks games since he lives in Greece (suburb of Rochester)

kind of shocked MB didnt bring him back.....he cant be any worse then 3-4 of our dmen

and we seem to love remenissing about the past, and bringing players back....a la plecky

After a short stint with the Buffalo Sabres, they offered him a small role in management. It will be good for him to get a little front office experience under his belt.
