His helmet is definitely a throwback to Hextall's

I think it's nice and clean.

He did the same thing in St. Louis when he wore a Curtis Joseph throwback. I read somewhere that he said he's taken a shine to the retro look.

So many goalies have such boring and unimaginative masks.

When I become an NHL goalie my mask will be so much better...

I've thought the zombie craze was ****ing stupid from day 1 and I'm appalled that it still exists a decade later.

I am also appalled that Matt Carle exists.

Named NHL's 2nd star this week.

.915 SV% 2.61 GAA

I had hoped/expected him to be at .915 for the season so it's nice to see him up to that mark again after having it slaughtered earlier in the year.

.884 in Oct
.920 in Nov
.941 in Dec

Now in giving him some props, watch him get shelled tonight.

That first month was absolutely horrid though. No rebound control, panicky af. Good to see him settle down.

So was Mason.
What's even weirder with Elliott is he has periods where he has great rebound control, then stretches where he looks totally lost.

The one thing I think we can all agree on is that Elliott may be the worst puck handling goalie ever, should never leave his crease and try to make a play on the puck!

I was about to say the exact same thing. It's unbelievable how bad he is at it.

He caused a goal by f***ing up and a minute later he does THE EXACT SAME THING.

Elliott hates Sanheim??

I'm lost on this one... please fill me in.

Sanheim has a near league worst on-ice save percentage.

Elliott has allowed the majority of his softies with Sanheim on the ice.

That will even out by seasons end im sure.

I wasn't aware of that Stat being kept for D-Men... no matter... I got your drift... Thanks.

It’s kept for everyone in different situations as well. The boxscore the NHL hasn’t tracks events like shots for everyone on the ice for both teams.

Scroll to the right & you’ll see on-ice save percentages. You can see shooting percentages as well.
