Stolarz is not a Flyers regular, therefore he doesn't "own" the number. Not to mention that Elliott was the Flyers "big FA signing" this summer. You can get frustrated with me all you want but it won't change the fact that you are incorrect.

Neither are allowed. John Davidson (NYR) wore 00 prior to the rule being established. The Flyers had a reserve net minder in the 1970s wear 24, that was as unconventional goalie number as I recall.

Actually I am not. I am simply stating a fact that an AHL player who gets called up now and again doesn't get "dibs" on a number. Certainly not one like Stolarz who isn't a top prospect within the organization.

He has 1 kid and the name is Owen....so yeah Owen D???? Elliott makes sense.

He has had Casey Jones on multiple St.Louis helmets as well. So obviously a fan for some reason.
