It doesn't say it in the article, but specualtion is that he didn't want to trade for Luongo, especially given Vancouvers price is rumor to be around Gardiner + Kadri

Burke is one of the worst GMs in the NHL. He is by no means an.upgrade over Garth...not even close. Burke is the Rex Ryan of hockey...good riddance.
